Editorial Policy & Publishing Principles

At عرب سايكلوجي we are committed to publishing trustworthy, accurate, and evidence-based psychology content. This policy explains how we produce, review, and update our content, and how we protect our editorial independence and credibility with readers.

1. Accuracy & Evidence Base

Our content is grounded in peer-reviewed research, academic textbooks, and recognized references in psychology and psychiatry (such as the DSM-5 and ICD-11). We avoid unreliable sources and clearly distinguish established scientific findings from opinion or hypotheses still under investigation.

2. Scientific Review

Medical and diagnostic articles are reviewed by qualified specialists in psychology or psychiatry before or after publication. Where an article has undergone this process, the reviewer’s name and review date are shown via our “Scientifically Reviewed” badge.

3. Authorship & Expertise

Content is written or reviewed by people with relevant subject-matter expertise. Author pages disclose their qualifications and specialties to support transparency and trust.

4. Ongoing Updates

We review content periodically to keep it aligned with current scientific understanding. A “last updated” date is shown on articles when substantive changes are made.

5. Editorial Independence

Our editorial decisions are independent of advertisers and sponsors. No commercial party influences article content, and sponsored or advertising content is clearly distinguished from editorial content.

6. Not a Substitute for Professional Advice

Our information is provided for general educational purposes and is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a licensed professional. If you are experiencing psychological distress, please contact a qualified professional or support service.
